Dear ones, I am filled with joy to share Jason and Annabel’s Engagement Session at the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio on my blog today. This museum makes the most perfect backdrop for sessions, with its beautifully landscaped greenery and architecture! I had a wonderful time exploring the exterior of the museum with Jason and Annabel.
Jason and Annabel’s Love Story … So Far!
Jason and Annabel met during a night out dancing with some mutual friends from church. According to Annabel, Jason asked her to dance only after asking a few other girls not to make it evident that he was interested in her. It must have worked, because they soon started dating and quickly fell in love.
This past July, the couple had planned a staycation at the
Hyatt Hill Country Resort to celebrate Jason’s 30th birthday. Jason gathered a few of his close friends, and little did Annabel know Jason was planning his own surprise. While they were at the resort celebrating together, Jason asked Annabel to go with him for a walk to their favorite spot at the resort. During the fireworks display, Jason got down and one knee to propose. Annabel didn’t even realize what was happening until Jason pulled the ring box from his boot! And of course, she said yes!

After the proposal, the couple decided to plan their wedding in only three months. Since time was not on our side we immediately scheduled the
engagement session, and they chose the
McNay Art Museum as their backdrop for their engagement. The incredible artists at
Prim & Powder did an incredible job on Annabel’s makeup look, and she looked amazing in her
Bolatic Born dress!
