Fredericksburg Texas Wedding

Brittney and James chose to have a small Fredericksburg TX wedding. Their wedding day had so many beautiful details, complemented by their loving spirits. It was the most smooth and easy-going wedding I have ever captured.

Their wedding portraits were full of passion and lots of romantic moments. The chemistry between the couple was amazing, and I just let them love on each other while I clicked away with a huge smile.

Intimate Fredericksburg TX Wedding

The bride, Brittney, wanted the wedding to take place on 02-20-2020 at 2:20 p.m. Those numbers were essential to her, and despite the chilly rainy weather working against the schedule, Brittney’s wish came true.

At 2:10, Brittney walked down the aisle with her father to meet her groom, braving the cold. There were heaters near the altar, however, the cold became a bit overwhelming for Brittney with her beautiful bare back gown. The officiant noticed her shaking and stated that he would rush the ceremony. Brittney nodded in agreement and everyone laughed and nodded in agreement too.

Brittney and James were married between two huge oak trees on the beautiful grounds of the Diamond Y Ranch right on the dot at 2:20!

The sun made its appearance by the time the reception commenced in this cute little saloon on the property. The grey clouds made way for beautiful clear skies, resulting in stunning portraits of the couple. Their darling young children were also part of the ceremony as little bridesmaids and groomsmen, a sweet detail that I loved (especially as a mom myself).

A laid back, weekday wedding

Holding your wedding on a weekday comes with so many benefits! Oftentimes, more venues and wedding vendors are available and sometimes prices are even lower. It also seems to create a very laid back atmosphere, which some brides are really after.

Small Texas wedding under oak trees

This location was filled with charm and love. Their ceremony took place in a sprawling field under the oak trees, a true small Texas wedding.

The bride and groom got ready for their ceremony at the Peach Orchard House. The beautiful home had a lot of character and large windows that allowed the beautiful natural lighting to flow into the house. The grounds surrounding the house had beautiful trees and a lot of open space that was ideal for an intimate outside ceremony.

Finding a small wedding venue

Brittney told me that she found the venue on Airbnb. She was looking for an unconventional location that was very intimate, and somewhere that she could visit every year with her family. The ranch was beautiful, quiet, and could accommodate her family and friends. When she visited the ranch, she prayed with her fiance underneath the huge oak trees and felt God tell them that this was the place.

About the Fredericksburg wedding couple

When I met Brittney, her sweet loving spirit, humble nature and calm demeanor made me want to be around her. Her fiancé James is such a chill guy and you can tell that he has nothing but love for his wife. These two were definitely made to be together.

Both Brittney and James had been married before and they were not in a hurry to be in a relationship. In addition, neither of them thought they would find love again that easily. They both worked in the same field and when their paths crossed, they became good friends. These two felt an instant connection and attraction. However, they were both resistant at first. Eventually, though, one date led to another until she said “I do.” Not only did they become one, but they also brought their two families together.

A warm thank you

My favorite part was capturing the connection between this couple and witnessing their chemistry. It was so strong that you could feel it from miles away.

Thank you Brittney and James for letting me capture your beautiful Fredericksburg TX wedding.
