Who doesn’t love a fun pop of color? I know I do! Modern minimalist weddings have become very in vogue in recent years. The style favors a neutral palette. However, there is no rule that state minimalism should lack color! This fall-inspired minimalist wedding demonstrates how the clean neutral colors can be paired with a pop of color.
The couples’ beautiful brown skin works well with the pop of color provided by the florals and groom’s maroon jacket from The Black Tie . We combined his maroon jacket, which was a connection to the floral earth tones, with a pair of simple tuxedo pants.
Likewise, our bride wore a beautiful, poetic off-shoulder tulle wedding gown made by Rish Bridal . This dress is available at Unbridaled Bridal Store in Austin. The bodice’s boning details added a silhouette and structure to the sweetheart neckline, while the tulle skirt added a touch of romance and playfulness.
A Modern Minimalist Wedding at the Prospect House
The design inspiration for this styled wedding shoot came from modern art connecting to the earth. We envisioned a dreamy minimalist wedding with luminous earth tones and dusty brown tones to convey warmth and connectivity. To illustrate that, our florist Remi & Gold created the floral arrangement with a mixture blend of dried and fresh blooms to create textured layers. It was the perfection combination palette of soft tans and brown earth tones.
We also wanted to have some sweet treats included. The amazing team at Simply Delicious Custom Cakes created a cake that was a work of art that had a simplistic modern feel. In addition, the painted marble effect provided a perfect hint of color, and the rice paper added texture and volume.
Tying everything all together, the table arrangements had touches of gold from tall taper candles and flatware. Similarly, the white dishes were the perfect match for the modern, clean, minimal table look.
Thank you to the vendor team that came together for this. They all worked so hard on this Modern Minimalist Wedding inspiration photo shoot.
