After the last two years in the wedding industry, there were many changes for couples and the way weddings were planned and executed. One of the most common trends of 2020 and 2021 is smaller weddings and courthouse ceremonies. Out of an abundance of caution couples kept weddings small during the pandemic. But now, thankfully, we seem to be coming to the other side of things!

In years past, it’s been customary to wait to celebrate with a vow renewal. Couples typically renew their vows at the 5th, 10th or even 20th wedding anniversary. But with the pandemic, the idea of waiting so long isn’t on couples’ minds. The latest trend is for pandemic couples to celebrate marriages now with their family and friends.

It is with these couples in mind that I wanted to inspire and curate a wedding day anniversary. The idea is to celebrate a day just as romantic, intimate, and engaging as their actual marriage day would have been if their friends and family had been able to attend.
